Career in Architecture
Carmen Demspter was licensed in New York in 1964. She worked for the Department of Public Works for more than 30 years. She received the Sloan Public Service award from the New York Fund, given to individuals for 30 years of service. She worked for the city for 33 years in many different positions from an architect in the Department of General Services to Assistant Director of Architecture.
