Pioneering Women of American Architecture Collection

Pioneering Women in American Architecture is a peer-reviewed collection of original profiles of historically significant women—architects, designers, critics, curators and policymakers born before WWII. These women were nominated by scholars from across the country and selected by a jury of architectural historians.

This collection is made possible with a generous grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and our major supporters.
