Biography

Early life and education

Jane Dumcombe was born in Whitby, Ontario, Canada in 1925. While attending the Art Institute of chicago, Duncombe took an interest in architecture. She studied under Polish architect Marya Lilien. Duncombe went on to become a charter apprentice at Frank Lloyd’s Taliesin.
