Dagmar B. Epsten is the founder and owner of Epsten Group, recognized in 2011 as one of the Top 300 Small Businesses of the South. Epsten received an engineering degree in architecture in Karlsruhe, Germany and a Masters of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Ms. Epsten is a registered architect, certified commissioning authority, certified construction specifier, and LEED specialist. Having worked with LEED 2000, Ms. Epsten is a pioneer and expert in all aspects of LEED, with LEED specialties in Building Design & Construction, Operations & Maintenance, Interior Design & Construction, Neighborhood Development, and Homes.
Ms. Epsten is a founding member of the USGBC Atlanta chapter and serves on the Board of Directors for Green Chamber of the South. She is the recipient of several sustainable design and achievement awards, including the Construction Specifications Institute’s national Environmental Stewardship Award in 2007.
