Lyn Hooper is a licensed Architect with McCandless & Associates Architects in Woodland, California. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon and has worked in the Sacramento Metro Area since her graduation.
Since she began her employment with McCandless & Associates Lyn’s primary focus has been on historic buildings. Her experiences include the Tax Incentive Application process, research and writing re-use studies for historic project types, Planning, Design, Construction Documentation and Contract Administration for many historic rehabilitation projects. She is currently working on several projects of historic nature, among them are the reconstruction of the Ebner’s and Empire House Hotels in Old Sacramento, California and the rehabilitation of Woodland, California’s Capital Hotel.
In addition to historic rehabilitation, Ms. Hooper enjoys working on new urban infill projects consisting of mixed-use occupancies. She is currently working on a three story retail, office and residential structure in downtown Woodland as well as a four story retail and office structure planned for the City of Davis, California.
